Brent helped lead a successful evangelistic outreach to the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, while he was the Minister to Singles at First Baptist Van Nuys, a large Southern Baptist Church in a Los Angeles suburb. It was at the 1984 Olympics that the Lord led Brent to develop this uniquely biblical salvation gospel presentation. He later became Pastor of the Beverly Hills Community Church for 22 years. His ministry then became focused on personal evangelism, teaching men, women, and mature teens what to say in personal evangelism to lead or win any unsaved person to accept Jesus as as their Savior.
